Free for Nassau and Suffolk homeowners
Plan your renovation before you hire anyone.
Tell us what you want to do to the house. Revival calls you, free, to get the job clear, checks licenses and insurance, and matches you with licensed contractors who come out and give you an estimate. Contractor matches open as our first licensed partners sign.
How it works, free
- 01
Tell us about the job
The request form takes about four minutes: what you want done, a rough budget, your timing and the address.
- 02
A qualifying call
We call you, free, to go over the scope, the budget, the timing and the town, and tell you which office issues your permit.
- 03
License and insurance checks
We check county licenses and insurance before any name reaches you, and again at every introduction.
- 04
Up to two licensed matches
We match you with up to two vetted, licensed contractors who fit the job. Only licensed partners, never a list.
- 05
Their walk-through and estimate
The contractors come out, walk through the job and give you their estimates. Revival does not visit homes or price work.
- 06
You decide
You sign with and pay the contractor you choose, directly. Or hire someone we never mentioned.
What Revival never does
You sign with the contractor you choose and pay them directly. Revival stays on your side of the table, and it never becomes your builder.
- Sign or negotiate a construction contract
- Take deposits or payments for any work
- Supervise, schedule or hire trades
- Pull permits
- Work an insurance claim
- Diagnose mold or size a mold problem
Planning guides
All planning guides- Home additionsAn addition is the biggest change most houses ever get.
- KitchensMost kitchen budgets are decided by one early choice: whether the sink, the range and the walls stay where they are.
- BathroomsA bathroom is a small room with a lot of water in it.
- BasementsA finished basement is only as good as the water management under it.
- Whole homeRenovating several rooms at once is less about the rooms than the order.
- Second storiesGoing up keeps the yard and adds the most space for the footprint, but it asks more of the house you already have than any other kind of addition..
- DormersA dormer turns low attic space into rooms you can stand up in, inside the roof you already have.
- Water and fire damageAfter a leak, a flood or a fire, the first hours are about safety and stopping the damage.
- Mold testing and removalNew York splits mold work between two licensed jobs on purpose: one company finds and sizes the problem, a different one removes it.
- Roofing and sidingRoofing and siding look simple from the street, but the permit rules change from town to town, and most of the quality is in the layers you never see..
Permits, town by town

Yes. Contractors in Revival's network may pay Revival a fee for introductions. You never pay Revival, and you are free to hire anyone, including a contractor we never mentioned.
Is Revival a contractor?
No. Revival qualifies the job with you and introduces licensed contractors. We never sign construction contracts, take deposits or payments for work, supervise trades, pull permits, work insurance claims or diagnose mold.
Which areas do you serve?
Homes in Nassau County and Suffolk County. We cannot take requests for addresses in New York City, including the Queens side of border ZIP codes.
Who calls me back, and when?
Revival calls you between 8 AM and 9 PM to talk through the job: what you want done, your budget, your timing and your town. The licensed contractors you are introduced to visit, walk through the job and give you their estimates.
