Privacy policy
This policy explains what Revival Home Consulting ("Revival", "we") collects when you use revivalhomeconsulting.com, call the Revival line, or ask us to plan a project, and what we do with it. Revival serves homeowners in Nassau County and Suffolk County, New York.
The short version
- We use your details to plan your project and contact you about it.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- No contractor receives anything about you unless you sign a separate consent that names that contractor first.
- Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Photos are stripped of location data in your browser, stored privately, and deleted 90 days after your project closes.
What we collect
What you give us
- Your name, phone number and email address.
- The home's street address, town or village and ZIP code, and whether you own it.
- Your project: the kind of work, its scope, a budget range, your timing, anything you write in, and photos you choose to upload.
- How you found Revival, if you tell us.
- Your answer to the optional call and text box, and, if you later choose an introduction, your signed consent naming that contractor.
What is recorded automatically
- Visit counts without cookies: the page, the referring site, campaign tags in the link, device type, browser and Cloudflare's approximate location. Visitors are counted with a code that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you or across days.
- With each consent you give, a record of the exact wording you saw, the time, the page, your IP address and your browser, so we can show what you agreed to.
- A security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) that helps keep bots off the request form. Cloudflare processes browser and device signals to do this.
Phone calls
When the Revival phone line is live, calls may be answered by an AI assistant that says it is an AI at the start of the call. Calls are recorded and transcribed so we can follow up accurately. We keep the caller ID, the recording, the transcript and what you tell us about your project.
How we use it
- To help with your project: the qualifying call, checking licenses and insurance, finding your permit office and, if you ask, introductions to licensed contractors.
- To contact you about your request by phone and email.
- To confirm the home is in Nassau or Suffolk County. We send the street address to the U.S. Census Bureau's public geocoder for this check.
- To introduce contractors, only after you sign a consent that names each one.
- To keep spam and abuse off the site, to measure which pages and sources bring requests, and to keep records the law requires.
Who we share it with
- Contractors, only with your signed consent. Before an introduction, you sign a consent that names the contractor, its license number and the phone number it may call, and lists what we will share. Without that signature, no contractor receives your details.
- Companies that run our tools for us, under contracts that limit their use of your data: Cloudflare (website hosting, database, private photo storage and security), Google Workspace (email), and, for the phone line, Retell AI and Twilio.
- When the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal order.
Text messages and your mobile number
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. Revival does not send text messages today. If we start, texts will only be about your own request, from Revival's own number, and only if you checked the optional call and text box. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. Checking the box is never a condition of using Revival.
How long we keep it
- Photos: deleted 90 days after your project closes.
- Your request and planning notes: up to three years after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer.
- Consent records: five years, so we can show what you agreed to and when.
How we protect it
Your details are stored in Revival's own systems, separate from any other business. Only people who need them can sign in to see them, through a protected sign-in. Data travels encrypted. If a breach ever affected your information, we would notify you as New York law requires.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
- Withdraw any consent, including a signed contractor consent, at any time. Withdrawing does not undo a share that already happened, and we will tell you what was shared.
- Ask us not to call you, and we will add your number to our internal do not call list.
Send a note through the request form at revivalhomeconsulting.com/start and say it is a privacy request.
Children
Revival is for homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new date. If a change affects how we share your information, we will ask for your consent first.
