Terms
Terms of use
These terms apply to revivalhomeconsulting.com and to the planning services of Revival Home Consulting ("Revival", "we"). By using the site or asking us to plan a project, you agree to them.
What Revival is, and is not
Revival is a renovation planning and consulting service. Revival is not a home improvement contractor. We do not perform, supervise or schedule construction work, sign or negotiate construction contracts, take deposits or payments for work, pull permits, act on insurance claims or diagnose mold. Any contract for work is between you and the contractor you choose.
What Revival's help includes
- The qualifying call is a conversation about your project. Nothing Revival says is a home inspection, a survey, engineering or architectural advice, an appraisal, a mold assessment or legal advice, and Revival does not visit homes.
- Prices come only from a contractor's own written estimate and contract.
- Permit information comes from public sources on the date shown. Rules and fees change, so confirm with the building department before you rely on it.
How Revival is paid
Revival's help is free for homeowners. Contractors in Revival's network may pay Revival a fee for introductions. You never pay Revival. Every introduction names any personal or business tie between Revival or its owners and that contractor.
Introductions
- We introduce up to two licensed contractors per project, and only after you sign a consent naming each one. The contractor, not Revival, visits the home, walks through the job and gives the estimate.
- We check each contractor's county license and insurance at the time of the introduction. We do not guarantee any contractor's work, price, schedule, conduct or results, and you remain free to check them yourself.
- You are never required to hire anyone we introduce, and you may hire anyone you like.
Service area
Revival plans projects for homes in Nassau County and Suffolk County, New York. We do not take requests for homes in New York City.
Not an emergency service
If water is coming in, there is a gas smell, or anything is unsafe, call 911, your utility, a licensed plumber or your insurance company first. Revival plans repairs; it does not respond to emergencies.
What you send us
- Please give us accurate information, and send only photos you have the right to share.
- You let us use what you send to plan your project and, with your signed consent, to share the details named in that consent with the contractors it names.
- Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
